Treaty on Kingdom Expansion and NPC habitat

The following treaty will present the rules and regulations for each structure that you might need to build in order to expand your kingdom, and rank up. It will also present the rules and regulations for your NPC's. This treaty is to be followed by all, and any, citizens, lords, or vagrants of Gramdamus.

The Keep

The keep is the main and most important building of your kingdom. The keep is based on tiers. The keep is composed of several structures.
The keep is valid only if it is surrounded by a defence. It is recommended to have it fortified, but depending on the style of your kingdom, it can be left unfortified. The keep tiers follow the defences tier.
Note: The keep doesn't count as a residence.

The Defences

The defences are the structures that protect your land from invaders. They are one of the most important parts of your land. Defences are based on tiers. defences are composed of several structures.

The NPC Residence

The NPC House is a fully furnished structure allowing one or more NPC to reside in it. One house can count as several residences.

The NPC House must have at least 2 rooms:

Note: If you make several bedrooms, the house will count as one residence for each bedroom. You can have several beds in one bedroom if there is at least 9 blocks per bed.
Example: If you make a 3 bedroom house, it will count as 3 residences. If you have one bedroom, that is 18 blocks with 2 beds, it will count as 2 residences.
But there is a limit of residences you can have per house:

The Barracks

The barracks is a fortified structure that allows you to train your soldiers.

The barracks will need enough beds to accommodate all your soldiers.
The main part of the barracks is the training terrain, that is walled and defended.
make sure to have a weaponry and armory storage room.

The Farm

The farm is a structure cluster made of at least 3 structures.

Note: If you choose to build an NPC house instead of a hut, it could count as an actual house.

The Arena

The arena is a leisure structure that allows you to host tournaments.

There are 4 types of arenas:

Any arena has tribunes. Within the tribunes, there are "high ranked" seats for the nobles.

The Chapel

The chapel can be part of another structure, or it's own small structure built in honor of the Holy Seagull.

The chapel is a room, with a few benches or chairs, and a niche with an altar.
You'll need to have a decoration that follows the Holy Seagull ornaments.

The Church

The church is a stand-alone structure built in honor of the Holy Seagull.

The church has a main room, a tower, a cemetary, and a garden. The main room has benches or chairs and an altar.
You'll need to have a decoration that follows the Holy Seagull ornaments.

The Cathedral

The cathedral is a large and fancy stand-alone structure built in honor of the Holy Seagull.

The cathedral has a large court or plaza, a main room, 2 towers, a cemetary, and gardens.
The main room has a main altar, and several niches.
You'll need to have a decoration that follows the Holy Seagull ornaments.

The Basilica

The basilica is a giant fancy structure built in honor of the Holy Seagull.

The basilica has a large court or plaza, a main room, severall towers, a cemetary, and gardens.
The main room has a main altar, and several niches. It has a private balcony for the lord.
The Basilica is built out of a fancy material such as marble, dwarven reinforced stones, or quartz.
You'll need to have a decoration that follows the Holy Seagull ornaments.

The Monastery

The monastery is a fortified cluster of structure that acts as it's own comunity, built in honor of the Holy Seagull.

The monastery has a central cathedral, and many smaller buildings around it.
The required structures are:

A monastery is home to at least 16 NPCs (monks).
The 16 NPC residences can be organized as 16 rooms in a single building.
The monastery produces a good, it can be alcohol, cheese, honey, etc.

The Warehouse

The warehouse is a structure dedicated to any type of storage.

The warehouse is a large storage facility, with chests, fluid barrels, or Ancient Warfare warehouses. It is located near commercial routes such as roads or ports.

The Workshop

The workshop is a factory dedicated to the production of goods.

The workshop has a production room, with functionnal production equipment, such as furnaces, or auto crafting tables.
It is functionnal, and it is recommended to have it near warehouses to store the produced goods.

The Market

The market is a plaza dedicated to the exchange of goods through market stalls.

The market is composed of several stalls, each one having trades.
The market is located near commercial routes such as roads or ports.

The Field

The field is a planted plot of farmland.

The field must be 9 by 9 blocks. It can grow any type of crops, but also sugar canes, trees, or even cactus.

The Barn

The barn is a storage purpose structure used to store hay bales and other grains.

The barn is only a room:

The Stable

The stable is a structure who's purpose is to store horses.

The stable needs at least 2 horse stalls:

The Hut

The hut is a small structure that requires one room. It is a tiny shed for a player or an NPC.

The hut has one main room:

The Library

The library is a structure dedicated to the storage of books, spells, and enchantments.

The library may be in its own building, or just a room in another structure.
It has many bookshelves, and an enchanting table.

The Kennel

The kennel is a structure who's purpose is to keep the lord's dogs.

The kennel needs at least 3 dog houses:

The Cemetery

The cemetery is an area dedicated to the burial of the dead.

The cemetery has several gravestones, and a small chapel if not already part of another structure.

The Granary

The granary is a structure or a room dedicated to the storage of food.

The granary has a storage room, with chests or Ancient Warfare warehouse.

The Brewery

The brewery is a structure dedicated to the production of alcoholic beverages.

The brewery has a brewing room, with functionnal brewing equipment, such as Rustic or Growthcraft barrels.

The Holy Seagull Ornaments

Whenever you'll want to rank up citizens, you will be asked to build structures in honor of the Holy Seagull.

There is no specific style to follow for those structures, but you'll need to have a decoration that represents the Holy Seagull.
Common Holy Seagull ornaments include:

The Banner

The banner requirement is simple: you must have a banner and / or a coat of arms that represents your kingdom.

Note: You may ask for an admin to copy your banner pattern on any banner you provide the staff with.
Example: You have your kingdom banner, and 1à white banners, you can ask for an admin to replace the white banners with your kingdom banner.

The Road

The road requirement is simple: you must have a road that connects your kingdom gates to the spawn.

The road does not limit itself to dry land. If an ocean is in the way, you will have to build 2 ports, and build a line of buoys between the 2 ports.
On land, the road has to be at least 3 blocks wide, and can either be paved, or use the Minefantasy Reforged road blocks.
If a neighbor kingdom has a road that connects to spawn, you may only build a road that connects to your neighbor kingdom's road. You'll just have to setup signs to guide players to your kingdom.
